The kitchen is fully equipped, with an oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher for 15 covers, refrigerator, freezer 220 ltr, with adjoining dining area and living room. The bathroom consists of a shower box with hydromassage jets and a washer dryer all newly renovated.

Barì Sardo is a farming village on the basalt plateau of Teccu ‘e Su Crastu, surrounded by rolling hills clothed in vineyards and fruit orchards. The area bears several traces of its ancient settlers, including the nuraghe Sellersu and the domus de janas (chamber tombs) of Pizzu’e Monti and Funtana Su Rettore, on the Su Pranu hills.

The second Sunday of July the Festival de Su Nenneri is held, to celebrate San Giovanni Battista.

Barisardo is a small village of about 4000 inhabitants situated on the inner part of the coast. Its position is due to the continuous raids by pirates (quite typical during the last centuries) of the sea over which this town overlooks. Submerged in Mediterranean vegetation, the territory of Barisardo has been chosen as a place to settle since ancient times and in particular during the Nuraghic Age, as evidenced by the presence of 14 Nuraghe.
However, there is other evidence of previously dated human presence. With the oncoming of Christianity, numerous villages arouse near places of worship. In the following centuries, a settlement called Villa di Bari (the words have a Mesopotamian origin and mean marsh)was created. The current name dates back to the Sardinian-Piedmont Kingdom. The suffix "sardo" was added to avoid any confusion with the city of Bari in the south of Italy. Foreign domination over the whole area was quite numerous including the Romans, Saracens, Vandals, Pisans and Spanish.
At that time, the sea was a real danger because of the incessant raids against the local population. The many Towers distributed over its 9 km. of coastline are evidence of this great threat. Today the sea, thanks to its beauty and transparency, is a real blessing for the local economy. As a matter of fact, it won the Blue Flag award given to the most beautiful and brightest coasts in Italy. This component has greatly boosted the tourism industry.
The sea also provides high quality, gastronomic products along with local farming derivatives that have allowed Barisardo to become a leading centre for traditional cooking. Payment Terms: Within 7 days after receiving our confirmation on your booking request you've to pay 50% of the total rent deposit. On arrival at your vacation home, the balance due has to be paid to the owner, by handling of the keys. Cancellation 9 months to 3 weeks time, before arriving 50% of the total rent payable. If cancelled less than the above term is 75% of the total rent payable. Regarding a withdrawal of your booking in case of serious illness, we can make an agreement that only 25% of the total amount will be paid from your side. Although when demonstrable with an authentic and signed medical certificate (no copies), which can be sent to our accountant for further verification.Taxes
