"Base camp" to practice multiple activities including the "idleness"
The larch of our mountain forests gives our house "AuBoisDebout" a soft and warm atmosphere (in a house with positive energy: which produces more energy than it consumes), being 5 minutes from Embrun .
At the foot of the mountains, in a balcony above the lake of Serre-Ponçon dam, without being lost in the middle of nowhere .... and most often in one of the best climates of France: up to now more than 300 days of sunshine a year ......
As well equipped "as at home":
On the ground floor:
- kitchenette: dishwasher, electric oven and microwave, induction hob, fridge and freezer, wood stove,
- sitting area: flat screen TV + sound bar, Bluetooth, blue-ray player, BZ bench (after approval of the host, it can be used as extra bed 140 x 200 cm)
- private terrace: sauna 2/3 places
- private closed garage: washing machine ,.
- private garden: tables and chairs for your barbecues, sunbathing for relaxation ... ..
Upstairs :
- 2 double bedrooms (beds 140 x 190 cm). If you are staying with a baby, or a toddler, we will provide you with sleeping arrangements.
- The "room of 4 cabins" for children: 4 beds 90x190 cm
- a bathroom: 2 sinks + a bath,
- Independent WC
Spring, summer, autumn: you are in the immediate vicinity of the lake of Serre-Ponçon, the river Durance, Kms hiking trails, mountain biking (on the paths, or downhill, from the ski lifts of the resorts nearby), equestrian, etc. ..., natural and cultural, architectural sites, the Via-Alta, (www.via-alta.com), aerial sports centers (less than 40 minutes), to make you appreciate the sensations of free fall, glider, ULM and other motorized flying machines .... A whole program: in one stay, you will not exhaust all the proposals of this territory ... ..
Ah !!! we would forget ..... you can also do nothing, ("fare niente" as they say, on the other side of the border, only 1h15 car) ..... only enjoy the time passing in a "beautiful Ecrin" .... (how not to do it, this "blagapapa", the Ecrins National Park is just opposite, on the other side of the valley of the Durance)
Nearby mountain resorts: Les Orres (20mn), Réallon (20mn), Crévoux (25mn), Risoul (35mn), Vars (40mn), and others just as famous although a little more distant, but the best: La Grave - La Meige (3600 m alt.) has 1:15 h of car.
