Satumaa is the last apartment in the Siulapalkinen terraced houses at Suopunkitie 6 B 11 at the bottom of Etelärinne.

Satumaa has an area of 50 m² + a loft of 30 m². The downstairs area has a sauna, a combined kitchen and living area and two bedrooms; the smaller one has a single bed and the bigger one has a double bed (width 140 cm). The house has a large terrace facing south that is perfect after a sauna. The loft is a large, full-height space with windows. There are four divan beds, closets and a proper desk in the loft.
The bathroom has a washer and a dryer. The smart TV has Netflix and other services. The apartment has well-functioning Wi-Fi. Firewood is included in the price. The kitchen is fully equipped with every possible appliance and lots of dishes.
The parking spot has an outlet so you can plug in your car’s block heater. There is a red kick sled on the yard that the Satumaa guests can use. There is a ski maintenance room in the courtyard.
The entire apartment has been renovated and refurnished a few years ago.

The apartment Satumaa (Wonderland) is the end apartment of a row house made of wood. It is surrounded by beautiful northern nature, about 800m from the center of Saariselkä.
In the apartment, which has just been completely renovated and furnished according to Scandinavian design, you will feel at home.
The apartment has a good sauna and a large south-facing terrace. In the kitchen, as well as in the household room are all the devices you need, including washer and dryer. The fireplace in the high living room creates a good atmosphere.
You can go to the activities in Saariselkä in the style of the locals on a kick sledge. You will find the sledge in the satellite warehouse.
In winter there are about 200 km of well-groomed cross-country trails, 35 km of which are illuminated. For alpine skiers there are a total of 15 slopes that extend over two fells.
In summer, the well-marked hiking trails of the Urho Kekkonen National Park invite you to take long hikes. The easily passable mountain landscape, untouched nature and numerous shelters make Saariselkä a popular destination for hikers.
